The Village of St. Edward offers a full range of care, from assisted living and memory care to nursing care, hospice, and independent living, across our four Greater Akron communities. Every level of care is available under a monthly rental program, so you pay only for what's needed today, with room to adjust as those needs change, and without a large entry fee standing between you and the care you need.

IndependentLiving

Independent living gives residents the ease of maintenance-free living, with services like weekly housekeeping and restaurant-style dining close at hand each day. Residents enjoy an active, connected lifestyle without the burden of home upkeep. The Village at Green offers independent living under our monthly rental program, with room to add support later as needs grow.

AssistedLiving

Assisted living offers help with the everyday tasks that have become harder, like bathing, dressing, and medication management, while supporting as much independence as possible for each resident. All four Village communities offer assisted living with the same attentive, personalized approach to daily care, and staff take the time to know residents by name.

MemoryCare

Memory Care provides a secure environment, specially designed for residents living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia, supported by staff and specialized programming to help each person feel known and understood. Memory Care is available at all four Village communities, each built around comfort, safety, and familiar routines, with staff who understand how to support residents through every stage of memory loss.

Nursing CareAnd Therapy

Nursing Care offers 24-hour skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, for residents who need a higher level of medical support after an illness, injury, or surgery. Nursing Care is available at The Village at Fairlawn, with priority access for Green, Wadsworth, and Brimfield residents who need to transition to a higher level of care.

HospiceCare

Hospice care brings compassionate, comfort-focused support to residents facing a life-limiting illness, provided in partnership with Northeast Ohio Hospice and coordinated closely with our own care teams. Support includes pain and symptom management, spiritual support, and emotional care for residents and families alike. Hospice care is available to residents at The Village's Fairlawn, Green, and Wadsworth communities today.

HomeCare

For residents who wish to remain in their own home while receiving additional support, Home Care services are provided in partnership with Northeast Ohio Home Care and coordinated with each resident's physician. Services include skilled nursing, therapy, wellness support, and disease management, helping residents maintain independence and quality of life without leaving the home, apartment, or community they already know and love.

I love the warmth and friendliness from both the staff and residents that makes St. Edward’s feel like home. The activities are varied and numerous and present opportunities to form new friendships and create laughter and fun. Also, there is comfort in knowing that St. Edwards will be there for me should I need more help through my life’s journey.
Choosing a memory care community for our mother was one of the hardest decisions we ever had to make as a family. Fortunately, after a difficult first placement where she didn't get the patience she deserved, we found the amazing team at The Village of St. Edward in Green. We are incredibly blessed and forever grateful to have found a place where our mother is loved, respected, and cared for with genuine compassion and understanding.
