A Community Built On Belonging

Community Life

Life at The Village of St. Edward is built around connection with the neighbors, family, and community you already know well. Whether it's a card game, a shared meal, a chapel service, or a quiet conversation on the patio, the everyday moments here are what make each of our four communities feel warm, familiar, and connected.

The Village Difference

Three things families should know about us:

As a not-for-profit organization, The Village puts people ahead of profits. Our Benevolent Care program ensures no resident is ever asked to leave if they outlive their financial resources. Every dollar is reinvested in the care, services, and experiences that support our residents.

Rooted in the legacy of the Dominican Sisters, The Village offers Catholic and non-denominational spiritual support for residents of every background. A full-time Chaplain and Spiritual Care team provide chapel services, personal guidance, and quiet opportunities for reflection.

For well over 60 years, The Village has been guided by a local, dedicated Board of Directors. This local leadership keeps our communities accountable to the families we serve and focused on decisions that support residents, from personalized care and staffing to long-term planning.

Village Life

There's a reason to connect every day at The Village: a euchre game in the pub, coffee with neighbors, a volunteer project, or grandchildren stopping by to read aloud in the courtyard. Residents shape the community calendar around what they actually enjoy, so no two weeks look quite the same.
